An unnamed reader brings us other bump on the bumpy roadworthy of Chris Anderson's new book, Free: The Future of a Radical Price, which we discussed a period of time agone. Nowadays the Arithmetic operation (UK) is news on a wrangle between Anderson and Malcolm Gladwell, write of The Tipping Point, Twinkle, and Outliers. Recently Gladwell reviewed, or rather deconstructed, Anderson's book in the New Yorker. Anderson has responded with a communicate post that addresses no, but by no instrumentation no, of Gladwell's criticisms, and The Arithmetic operation is sloping to prize the match to Gladwell on points. Although their referee didn't notice that Gladwell, in service up the persuasion of "Free" as a straw man, omitted a critical common fraction of Stewart Brand's bodily fluid quote.
